Maybelline Wet Shine Nail Polish vs OPI World Collection Nail Lacquer
Battle of the Drug Store Nail Polishes
Durability
Maybelline Wet Shine Nail Polish did not fair so well in the durability category. I did find that the same day I applied the Maybelline Wet Shine Nail Polish in Cherry Red that it chipped. Because I chose such a dark vibrant color I painted a clear coat on first, then applied two coats of the Maybelline Wet Shine Nail Polish in Cherry Red and the one final clear topcoat. This is the general procedure I have found when getting a manicure, so I do believe I gave the Maybelline Wet Shine every fighting change to stay put. Most of the rest for my nails did not chip, so I think that if you are very active with your hands during the day, you may find that it is better to go with a light more sheer color in the Maybelline Wet Shine Nail Polish line of colors.
