The Wilson Dd6 Distance driver is a classic looking 460cc driver designed for maximum distance and accuracy. The club features several improvements on past Wilson drivers to make one heck of a golf club! First the club head features Wilson's EFT Technology which will is similar to the current cup face designs on the market. This makes a much larger area of the club face act as a sweet spot for added distance. Another new feature from Wilson is their L-Pod weighting system. These two fixed weights are strategically positioned farther away from the club face and towards the heel and toe area for a more stable club head on miss hits. While the Dd6 Distance driver does not feature Wilson's Fat Shaft Technology, it does feature a slightly larger than standard .350 Nano Tech Shaft that will help keep the club head stable through out the swing. Add this to its all Titanium head and you get one very long, very forgiving driver.
I'll say first that I have played Wilson's products as a member of their Club Pro Staff and have always thought they made great clubs, but this driver is on a whole new level! I could really feel all the technology in this club when I swung it and the Nano Tech Shaft made for a nice mid to high ball flight. I was able to work the ball, hit it high or low when needed as well. Over all this is a great club for just about any player really. If you are harder swinger, I would suggest looking into getting a stiffer shaft put in this club, but for someone like me with around a 100mph club head speed, it works just fine.
