When
reality shows took off in the late 80s with the groundbreaking
reality show
Cops at the time when
reality shows were not even on the high priority plates of
Hollywood executives, but fast forward 20 years later and you got everyone from Snoop Dogg to Tila Tequila having their own
reality shows. The concept of
reality show
dating has really taken a seat between the fence because it's been the center of a lot of high profile break ups. The one show that set the stage for
reality dating was the defunct FOX
reality show
Who Wants To Marry a Multi-Millionaire and that's when it began a slew of other shows like
The Bachelor and the Bachelorette. Then you got
celebrities jumping on the
dating bandwagon with Public Enemy front man Flavor Flav having two past shows Flavor of Love which resulted in both
relationships to be busted due to differences and also having reportedly having a
child with some
woman while he was 'with' Deelishis 'aka' Chandra Davis(who's now reportedly expecting a
child with rapper Busta Rhymes). Tila Tequila who gained fame as a model and singer had her debut show
A Shot at Love With Tila Tequila showing her cavorting with both
men and
women which openly showed the star as bisexual. Now Flavor Flav's back with Flavor of Love 3 which debuts in February, and Poison front man Bret Michaels is back with
Rock of Love 2 since last
season was dud since after the show wrapped when Bret choose Jes over Heather for the fact that Heather was too much of a
party girl where Jes was more downscaled and not as wild. Yet the couple revealed on the reunion show that they had broken up, but remained friends.
