Easter Ideas

With Easter soon approaching I thought I would write an article about some ideas for Easter.

Easter Egg Coloring.
As a child I never got to do something so I am now really looking forward to sharing this activity with my daughter.
Many egg coloring and decorating kits are available at pretty much any store. Some kits also come with decorations or stencils to make pretty designs.

Easter Bunny.
Kids usually get just as excited Easter morning as they do Christmas morning. They can't wait to see what the Easter Bunny has left for them. The parents of the child(ren) can decide whether they will send their child(ren) on an Easter egg hunt, or if their child(ren) will just get a basket from the Easter Bunny. Some parents do both, but for some it's just not that financially easy.

Easter Egg Hunt.
On Easter morning you can get your child(ren) to grab a basket and start searching for eggs. These eggs can either be real eggs that have been decorated or chocolate eggs. When I was a kid my mom and dad would just hide our chocolate eggs around the house. A friend of mine always had to search the house, and back yard for decorated and chocolate eggs.

Easter Basket.
Some parents chose to get a basket of goodies for their child(ren), some just hide chocolates all over the house, and lucky kids have a parent(s) who do both!
If your child(ren) are into a certain theme like Sponge Bob, Dora, Care Bears, Pooh And Tigger, etc you can often find theme related baskets at a store like Walmart. You could also make one yourself. Other good ideas for an Easter Baskets would be; Sidewalk chalk, Easter Cream Eggs, chocolate eggs, Mini Eggs, jelly beans, a stuffed bunny, and of course a big Chocolate Easter Bunny! Some stores also sell personalized Easter eggs that have your child's name on it. Last year at Walmart their was a lady who personalized these chocolate eggs for people.
