The Rescue Mission Alliance is located at 125 S. Harrison Avenue, Oxnard, CA 93030. Some of the duties available are serving meals, keeping tracking and updating client records, clerical, etc. You must have a valid CA driver's license and pass a background check. Where to Volunteer in Oxnard, California #2: Oxnard Public Library
The Oxnard Public Library would be a wonderful place for book lovers to volunteer. Some of the duties you can expect doing are shelving, repairing books, type and put on labels, help at special events and more. There are three library locations. They are: 4300 Saviers Road , Oxnard, CA 93033, 1500 Camino del Sol #26, Oxnard, CA 93030 and 251 South 'A' Street, Oxnard, CA 93030. To make volunteering easier, you may want to volunteer at the library closest to where you live. You will have to fill out an application and go through an orientation before volunteering. To be a volunteer for the Carnegie Art Museum, you need to be at least 18 years old and commit to 8 to 20 hours a month. Some of the duties you may be doing is gardening, working at special events, archiving, helping with visitors, clerical work, touring and more. First you will need to fill out an application, and then you will be interviewed. After being approved by the staff, you will attend orientation and if training is required, they will train you.
