The Kentucky Fried Horror Show is a film project by C.L. Gregory.

The synopsis for the film: "When a group of students on their first road trip find themselves stranded in the deep south, they seek help from a country church. Their discovery turns deadly as they find themselves the main ingredient in a psychotic and deeply twisted religious cult's sadistic mass. It's a race against time - and the Devil, as one by one they are hunted in a deadly game of cat and mouse. It's up to a local Sheriff and a burnt out FBI agent to save them before it's too late."

Apparently Kentucky Fried Chicken has decided that it is their place to put a stop to the filming of the movie. In a letter to the filmmaker KFC apparently stated that they do not condone horror movies and find that the art on the movie's poster is "shocking and vile."

I think most free loving people in the world are going to have to side with the filmmakers on this one and wonder what makes Colonel Sanders think he can control the release of horror movies or the usage of the words Kentucky and Fried. Note there have been films in the past that did not have any issues for using the same phrase "Kentucky Fried."

The current cast for the film includes: Brad Dourif, Bo Svenson, Michael Copon, Scarlet Pomers, Jazsmin Lewis, Mary Castro, Rachael Robbins, Zoe Hunter, Zack Bennett and Simone Lotter; Brooke Hogan is supposedly in talks.

The filmmaker has released statements that he will ignore KFC's demands and continue with the project as intended, possibly landing in court.

That sounds like an interesting movie. Too bad that KFC thinks that they own Kentucky and the right to fry things...

Great reporting. That's ridiculous on KFC's part. I mean if they want to make a statement, that's fine. To try and stop the filming? Outrageous and arrogant.
