Super Bowl Sunday is one of the biggest eating days of the year. For many people, it's a 4 to 5 hour eating party, with a little bit of football thrown in. Sounds great, right? Well, it may not seem so great once you hop on the scales. This doesn't mean you should cancel your Super Bowl party or even limit the amount of food you eat. After all, eating is what a Super Bowl party is mostly about. Instead, you should choose guilt-free Super Bowl party food.

One of the most popular Super Bowl party foods is chili. But, not all chili is created equal. Instead of serving high-fat chili, go with a guilt-free version. Try preparing the chili with 93% lean ground beef and add more vegetables. An easy way to make your chili guilt-free is to add more beans. Try adding chili beans, kidney beans, and pinto beans to your guilt-free chili. Also add lots of sautéed onions and chopped tomatoes. To keep this chili guilt-free, add toppings like low-fat shredded cheddar cheese, low-fat sour cream, and green onions.

Chips and dip have always been popular Super Bowl party food. Instead of choosing potatoes chips that are greasy and dips that fatty, choose guilt-free options. For example, look for Baked Lay's. Another great example is baked tortilla chips. When it comes to guilt-free dips, you can't go wrong with salsa. For a truly unique addition to your Super Bowl party try toasting pita wedges to make chips and dipping them in hummus.

Without a doubt, the most popular Super Bowl party food is pizza. But, the pizza you order from your favorite pizzeria is full of fat. Instead, why not make your own guilt-free pizza? Even better, why not get your guests involved so that everyone can enjoy their favorite toppings? You can buy wheat pizza crusts in individual sizes. This means everyone can customize their pizza with their favorite ingredients. When it comes to toppings, look for guilt-free choices like turkey pepperoni, chicken, zucchini, red bell pepper, mushrooms, onions, and any other vegetables that sound good to you and your guests.
