Good Ridance to Redness

In choosing between Clean & Clear Continuous Acne Wash and Oxy 10 Oil-free Maximum Strength Acne Wash, I would probably say it depends on your personal needs. Using Oxy 10 Oil-free Maximum Strength Acne Wash is for
heavy acne situations. It is for serious conditions and isn’t great for daily usage because it can make your skin rough and dry. Clean & Clear Continuous Acne Wash is great for continuous use. You can use it twice a day without worrying about it drying out your skin badly, and the foam is nice. It does not smell mediciny or awful. Of course, if my acne was worse, I’d be tempted to use Oxy 10 Oil-free Maximum Strength Acne Wash more often!

I started using Clean & Clear Continuous Acne Wash regularly, even when it’s not my period. My skin is cleaner, clearer, and looks better. Of course, at my age I’ve started using a moisturizer too. Thank goodness Clean & Clear Continuous Acne Wash isn’t too harsh for me.

With any acne treatment program, be sure to watch for allergy reactions and follow all product safety warnings. I didn’t chuck the Oxy 10 Oil-free Maximum Strength Acne Wash into the trash, even though it’s not my preferred treatment product. I still get it out for acne emergencies, so I don’t recommend against it. It’s just not my favorite.

  • Stridex dried out my whole face, as did the bargain brand little wipey pads
  • Clean & Clear Continuous Control Acne Wash comes in a pretty purple bottle that you can see through
  • Clean & Clear Continuous Control Acne Wash was gentle with my face
