The Naruto TCG: Battle of Destiny

The Naruto Trading Card Game has exploded in popularity, and now the game enters it's eight expansion Battle of Destiny. This set recounts the events of the Sasuke retrieval arch of the Naruto anime, and goes forward into the fight between the last of the Uchiha and the boy who controls the Nine Tailed Fox, Naruto vs. Sasuke. This new expansion includes many of the original Japanese versions of the cards in the Naruto TCG, but also includes many US exclusive cards.

Battle of Destiny will drastically change the meta of the current environment by giving Earth and Lightning decks a major boost. Wind will also see some very powerful support cards with reinvented versions of fan favorites like Sakura and of course, Gaara of the Desert. Fire and Water elements will be present in this set, but they will only serve to enhance these styled decks, rather then to really change the face of the way things are played.... Except for the Sound Ninja.

Sound Ninja have often been thought of as "A good idea" but no real Sound decks have stepped up and done much, but that could easily change with the release of Battle of Destiny. The Four Sound Ninja, along with Kimmimaru are back, and with their stage 2 forms this time. This adds a whole new dimension to the Sound style deck, and a face from the past returns to us. The original Genin sound squad is reprinted with some new effects, like Dosu and his damaging sound conductor, along with Zaku and Kin.

Now everyone has known for a good long while that Sasuke and Naruto would be destined to face off against one another, and the Battle of destiny expansion reflects this with new versions of Sasuke and Naruto, but not in their usual state, but rather powered up by their inner abilities. Sasuke has learned how to go level 2 with his curse mark with devastating result, and Naruto can now tap into the inner strength of the Nine Tailed Fox! Both these ninja have increasable power, and now you can control their destined struggle!
