Chinese New Year lasts for a whole week. Starting last Thursday. They also hang papercutting drawings on their windows. They cut it with a knife or scissors. This is a good paragraph. Also, everyone knows this is the year of the Rat!

This year is the year of the Rat! There are 12 animals in the zodiac. Can you guess what they are? (Hint: One of them is not a cat.) Chinese people also recieve red envelopes. This is a good well written paragraph.

Fascinating & well-researched article. Wish I was in Seattle to enjoy all the fun. There are some very nice Chinese New Years STAMPS at the post office (and I guess you can order them via the USPS website) that are beautiful. They would also go well on Valentine's Day cards, if anyone is interested. Thanks again for the great article! Happy New Year of the Rat!

Many years ago we were in WA and were able to hit a Chinese New Years celebration in Seattle international district - it was really well done with all sorts of booths and entertainment. I see it is still going on and I bet even better. I'm emailing this to my cousin who lives outside of Seattle.
