Chinese New Year lasts for a whole week. Starting last Thursday. They also hang papercutting drawings on their windows. They cut it with a knife or scissors. This is a good paragraph. Also, everyone knows this is the year of the Rat!
This year is the year of the Rat! There are 12 animals in the zodiac. Can you guess what they are? (Hint: One of them is not a cat.) Chinese people also recieve red envelopes. This is a good well written paragraph.
Fascinating & well-researched article. Wish I was in Seattle to enjoy all the fun. There are some very nice Chinese New Years STAMPS at the post office (and I guess you can order them via the USPS website) that are beautiful. They would also go well on Valentine's Day cards, if anyone is interested. Thanks again for the great article! Happy New Year of the Rat!
We have Chinese new year in Bangkok too and it's HUGE!!! We even get two days vacation for it (well I don't because I work freelance :-) Good article!
Sounds like fun.
