Inglorious is Caesar,
Despite his many victories
Inglorious is the Oracle of Delphi,
Despite the surviving ruins
Inglorious is Xerxes,
Despite his mighty empire

Inglorious is Columbas,
Despite his many statues
Inglorious are the Crusaders,
Despite their past fame
Inglorious are the Pharisees,
Despite their past wealth
Inglorious is Pope Leo X,
Despite the constructions he sponsored

Inglorious are those who are remembered
By nothing save marble and gold
Inglorious are those who are remebered
By nothing save sinful scars upon society
Inglorious are those who leave nothing
Save worthless wealth and empty deeds

Glorious is the widow who gave two copper coins,
For her generosity outlived the wealthy men's hypocrisy
Glorious is Martin Luther King,
For his love outlived him
Glorious is the dying soldier,
For freedom is what he leaves behind
Glorious is the caring mother,
For her family is her legacy

Glorious are the masons who labor in the Cathedral of the Heart,
For their work exceeds mortal stone
Glorious are those who worship in the Cathedral of the Heart,
For they bring a sacrifice of love

Here there is eternal glory
Here there is the Lord's unhindered love
Here there is a worthy legacy

I like this, especially the part about being masons.
