California Science Center
Marvel's Super Heroes Science Exhibition
Labor day is the last day to learn about the science behind Marvel's greatest Superheroes. Including: Spiderman, The Incredible Hulk, Doctor Octopus, The X-Men and more. Plus learn the history of Stan Lee's Marvel Comics and see the private Dr. Strange collection on loan from Howard Hallis. 
It is strongly recommended that you purchase tickets online, as they are limited.

Natural History Museum
Two fascinating exhibits at one place. The Mysterious Bog People and The Pavilion of Wings. The former explores 10,000 years of Northwestern European history, focusing on rituals and sacrifices. It features mummies and artifacts. The Pavilion of Wings allows you the rare opportunity to stroll through 30 different species of free flying butterflies and moths. Labor day is the last day for this event. Regular museum admission includes entry to the Mysterious Bog People, while the Pavilion of Wings has a small, but additional fee.

Autry Nation Center
The Museum, store, and Café are all open from 10 am - 5pm. However, from 1-2:30pm is the time to go as the Museum is hosting "Hands on Holidays". This event includes a scavenger hunt. Entrance to this event is free with museum admission.

Travel Town Museum
Open from 10am to 6pm this is a great place for a quick train ride, a picnic or a BBQ as grills are available. The museum entrance is free and the store offers cute souvenirs.
