Cabo San Lucas has definitely become one of the hot spots for travelers, especially 25 and under travelers. The first time I traveled to Cabo San Lucas I understood why. It offers some beautiful landscape, with endless shoreline, and activities galore. Plus, being in Mexico helps keep some of the prices down.
Cabo is alo known for the nightlife. This usually means bars get rowdier, louder, and people are out later. This is often a case for many older people not to travel to a destination. But the one nice thing about Cabo is that you can actually stay out of the nightlife if you choose. But this means staying in the Hotel Corridor, which can be anywhere from 5-30 minutes to downtown Cabo. Although this might seem like a long trip, it is well worth it.
When I was on vacation there, we stayed in a beautiful hotel in the Corridor. It was so nice to wake up in the morning and hear the waves crashing on the shore instead of "Hotel California" blasting from the beach bar that never closes. Staying too close to downtown Cabo, means the party never stops. And I know some people prefer that, but for me I like to have a nice mix. I like to have the choice to hear the blaring dance music at night or the top 40 music playing throughout the day. Plus, I love a good hotel.
