Rain falls steady;The day looks like night;
Cold and unforgiving;
Relentless and unyielding;
Chills body and soul;
Barren and empty;
Echoes of silence;
Abandoned and lifeless;
Until the warmth of spring;
Winter clouds dissipate;
Reveals the golden sun;
Brown is turned to green;
The trees are filled with music;
Bushes bloom with lilacs;
Flowers in my garden grow;
Until this day I must wait;
And be surrounded by ice and snow.
