Your wedding day is not only the biggest day of your life, a day that you have dreamed of for many years but for most brides it is also one of the most expensive days that you will have. There are some places that you can save money in your wedding budget and your guests will never notice.

The Wedding Invitations and Programs

This is one place you can have custom invitations and programs while still cutting costs. You don't have to send out stock invitations or use stock designed programs, you can design your own for next to nothing. One way to cut costs here is to design them yourself, then upload to a printing firm. If you don't have the time or the knowledge to design them yourself, check out the local college in your area. Graphic design students and art students that are still in college will be able to design the look for your special day while building their portfolio. Once they have designed your invitations and programs and you are happy, the file can easily be uploaded to an online printer for professional printing.

Wedding Favors:

Another huge expense of the Wedding is the Wedding Favors. One way to reduce the cost is making the favors yourself. These can be done weeks in advance and one place you can save money. These can be as simple as Candy Kisses in a pouch with the name of the Bride and Groom and the date. You can use the same design as your wedding invitations to incorporate into the favor design. Many places are available online that will professional print your design on boxes, pouches, and just about anything that you like. If it is going to be a hat day, you can buy fans and attach your wedding day information on it. This is not also nice, but will help your guests stay cool during the ceremony.
