Tom Cruise on Scientology... Again

Tom Cruise Babbles On

Most of us who had the opportunity to watch the "Tom Cruise on Scientology" interview pulled off of youtube could have been wondering the same thing; "what the hell is he talking about?" Tom Cruise sits in front
Tom Cruise on Scientology... Again
of the camera explaining "the privilege" he has earned through the organization and the ability "to create better realities." The approximately ten minute long video had a brief run on you tube before being pulled off.

The video was filmed in honor of his award for the 2005 Freedom Medal of Valor, a valuable achievement in the organization. The video was quickly pulled from you tube and most believe it was due to the seemingly mindless babble that happens whenever Cruise is interviewed. Like the brief negative attention he received on his May 23, 2005 interview on the Oprah show. Laughing hysterically, he jumped on the couch he was being interviewed on and behaved what many have thought to be unprofessional. Although he did not perform any jumps or leaps in this video, his random hysterical laughter can be considered unbecoming of the seriousness he seemingly wanted to convey.

Scientology which is the brainchild of science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard, gained fame in the past couple of years with such followers as Tom Cruise and his former wife Mimi Rogers. The video for many who viewed it, has done nothing but further confuse its viewers on the basis of Scientology and challenge the character of those who have made themselves a part of this group that struggles to become a respected religion.

I wonder if Scientology had the right to use that music from Limp Bizkut or the production studio that made MI? Hmmmm....

I'm so bored with Scientology. I don't care about it one way or the other, and am sick of hearing about it. Can we stop giving the cult free media publicity on a daily basis now?

Scientology is a big subject, a few sentences doesn't do it justice. Tom's remarks are taken out of context and what you've got here is a situation of missing background data. This article is seems to be irresponsible and a disservice to us readers and Scientologists alike. Why not contact the Church of Scientology for clarification before writing the article? The processes of Dianetics and Scientology are proprietary. If a splinter group uses them it's a inferior rip off.

Often cult members become extremists and sacrifice their time, money and life to pursuit a fake goal. TC is no less. It is not freedom of faith the issue. Everyone should have the right to speak about his ideas and opinions. But Scientology is not for free speech, nor for freedom of faith. These are churches that the Church of Scientology successfully destroyed by illegal harassment over the years, because their teachings were close to Scientology teachings: Church For All Faiths, Church For Spiritual Advancement, Church Of Spiritual Arts, Church Of Spiritual Enlightenment, Church of New Civilization, Church Of Spiritual Freedom, Church Of Truth, ...(and more) How they did it? As a factual example let's read how they harassed former member Rev. David Mayo, founder of the Church of New Civilization: http://www.fzint.net/history/mayo960610.htm It is enlightening on what's wrong (and dangerous) about Scientology. Anoter factual example?
