If you are like a vast majority of people out there, you might have a New Years resolution to lose some weight or just get more muscle tone. Hopefully, I can help.

First off, I am not going to promote diets or anything like that, so don't worry. That doesn't mean that you should gorge yourself with chocolate and cookies. If anything, just substitute a couple things with healthy alternatives. For ex: instead of drinking a can of pop, have a glass of milk. A good way to stop from eating as much, is to drink a glass of water before you eat lunch or dinner.

A majority of the people reading are probably women. My advice to you is to lift weights, not just tiny little weights, but heavier ones. Don't worry you won't turn into the hulk or anything, but the heavier weights will add more muscle tone to your body, (For men, heavier weight builds bulk.) Don't strain yourself either, because you still want to get a good amount of repetitions in. Now don't just lift a weight up, a few times. Yes, you need to do reps, but you need to do them in sets as well. Your goal is to tire the muscle out, because if your muscles don't feel worked, then they probably weren't. You may want to join a gym, that might motivate you, seeing other working out and all. The choice is yours.

So here are my tips for helping you achieve that look you always wanted.

Tip #1

Don't snack on anything at least 2 hours before you go to bed. If you are really hungry than just nibble on something small and nutritious.

Tip #2

Don't starve yourself all together, because the will actually slow your metabolism causing your to not loose weight at all, possibly you might gain.

Tip #3

Be more active. Walk as much as you can.

Tip#4

Work out. Set a schedule and FOLLOW it. It doesn't have be grueling, but make it challenging.

Tip#5

Lift weights. Muscle eats fat, which means the more muscle you have the more fat will get eaten.

Tip#6

Do morning stretches. This will help keep your muscles loose, giving you more energy.

Tip#7

Keep a positive attitude about yourself. Don't put yourself down, because that will just make you give up trying. Remember you can do anything if you at least try.

Tip #8
