Yoga is good for body and mind. Yoga relaxes your mind, clears your mental blockage and keeps you healthy.

Some yogic postures which will help you in getting rid of backache are given below. These exercises will correct your spine posture and certainly relief your backaches problem.

Some yogic postures, keeping your whole body in downward direction, facing the carpet:

First posture
is cobra posture-Lay down on the carpet in downward position, (your face and complete body should face the carpet) and through the support of your both hands, breath in and try to move up slowly, as much as you can, hold for few seconds (keeping your lower body portion at the ground), than slowly breath out and move down in the normal position. Try to do this yogic posture at least for 3-5 times in a day.

Second posture- Lay down on the carpet in downward position, (your face and complete body should face the carpet) and keep your hand palms one over the other in the centre (first left hand palm should face downward), near your forehead and touch the forehead on hand palms, and breath in and try to move up your upper body portion slowly, as much as you can, (keeping your lower body portion at the ground), hold for few seconds, than slowly breath out and move down in the normal position. Try to do this yogic posture at least 3-5 times in a day.

Third is the snake posture- Lay down on the carpet in downward direction, your face and complete body should face the carpet and chin should touch the ground, breath in and move up your hand-palms, (be sure your complete body is at the ground), than breath out and put your hand-palms down in normal position. Try to do this yogic posture at least for 3-5 times.

Fourth posture- Lay down on the carpet in downward position, your face and complete body should face the carpet, and keep your hand palms on the cheeks, and elbow should touch the carpet, and move your legs up (both the leg should touch your buttocks as much as you can) and slowly move it down, alternatively do this yogic posture for 10-15 minutes. This will definitely make your spine erect and relief backaches.
