Ron Paul to Be Squeezed Out of the Republican Debates

I have been watching the debates very closely and the tactics from both of the political Parties. It is obvious that neither Party wants to see Ron Paul become a candidate for President and they are determined to see to it that he never makes
it past the Primaries. Everything from ignoring him to smearing him has not had any effect on his campaign or his supporters and they remain very much behind him.

There have been allegations that the voting machines are rigged to not accept votes for Ron Paul, or that they are not reliable. These voting machines are a point of contention to many and in my opinion I would rather count hanging chads from now until the Kingdom comes, rather than have a computer controlled by a corporation tallying up the votes with no paper trail.

Many Ron Paul supporters are very much aware the Parties opposition to Ron Paul and how the mainstream media has been complicit with them. However, it is likely that the powers that be may just have their way and squeeze the Texas Congressman out of the running. It is not as if the leaders of the two major political Parties did not see the popularity of Paul growing even in the early days of his campaign, but there was simply nothing that they could do about it until now.

It is my opinion that there has been an orchestrated and well-crafted plan to suppress the actual votes and to keep Ron Paul in the bottom tier. Given the popularity and the grassroots fundraising that Paul's campaign has generated, there simply seems to be no other explanation. However, those in charge of implementing and carrying out this plan can only do so much and if they cook the numbers too much, it will become too obvious that something fishy is going on.

I am going to vote for Ron Paul in the Texas Primary in March. He is the only candidate that has any brains.

You make some interesting points. I don't (perhaps don't want to) believe in conspiracies, but I do agree that few people listen to RP or take him seriously. He is "out there" when compared to the others, and as I've watched the debates, the other candidates appear to just laugh him off.

Very thought provoking article, as always!

I really don't think there is a conspiracy, maybe political positioning (which goes on in all elections). Unfortunately, folks like Ron Paul will never get the nomination because they don't play smart. No matter how much we hate it, candidates have to play the game in one form or another, and there IS a way to play the game without compromising what you believe in. Matthew 10:16 says, "I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves". Ron Paul would do well to read that verse and implement it. A great read as always Nick.

Thought-provoking and great job as always. I'm with Mike's (and others) view, in that it's pretty unlikely. :-)

Voter rigging is unlikely but entirely possible, who can say for sure, now that there is no paper trail. However, media bias is obviously taking place. It's too bad we don't have a media source unencumbered by big business that can do in depth coverage of the election process and all the candidates that are involved all the way up to the General Election without leaving anyone out. Sadly however, that's just a pipe dream. I will continue to push for Paul as long as the political Machine will let me. I'll be there for the Ohio Primaries. Go Paul.

Great article. I think Matt makes a great point. I do think many try to undermine Paul, but I also think many simply just don't care to listen, unfortunately.

Cont'd--- But somehow i think it's silly for you to think that his voter turnout suggests that there is conspiracy lurking in the voting machines. I attribute it more to the apathy and ignorance of the average American. Anyhow, if there is a conspiracy, it's going to come in the form of a pre-election "terrorist" attack, and then they won't have to rig anything, we will carelessly give up the remaining shreds of constitutionality we have left.
