Valentines Day can be very depressing if you do not have anyone to spend it with. All you hear from your non-single friends are their plans for Valentines Day. Well, you have three options: 1.) You can be bitter and pout. 2.) You can tell your friends to keep their stupid Valentines Day plans to themselves. 3.) You can be your own Valentine and celebrate by yourself (who needs people to share it with right?) This is the ultimate guide to having a fantastic Valentines Day alone. It's time to spoil you!

The day before Valentines Day send yourself flowers to be delivered that morning. This ensures that you do not get stuck with sucky flowers that you're allergic to. Also it prepares you for the wonderful day ahead of you.

Sleep in late, (duh, silly) then make yourself breakfast on the couch while you watch television, preferably chocolate chip pancakes in the shape of hearts. A side of bacon, eggs, and a big glass of orange juice. Forget the diet today, because who loves you? You do!

You're up and fed. Now it is time to spoil yourself further. SHOPPING! Buy something that you have been wanting for a while. Hey why not? If you must, a friend can be called, just in case they are needed to haul your gifts to the car.

Whew! You have worked up a sweat with all that shopping. Time for lunch! Spoil yourself and go to your favorite restaurant. In fact a buffet is always nice. Do not be afraid to sit alone and also do not be afraid to carry plastic zip-locks in your purse just in case. It's your day and you deserve it. Ignore all the lovey Dovey couples around you. Who needs it anyway, eeck!

Once done go to a park and enjoy the sun, read a book. But just in case it is cold, miserable, and rainy; a nail salon is a nice place for a mani and a pedi. Ooo lala.

Movie, movie, movie. None of these, chick flick, sappy movies. That's depressing. Go see an action flick, or a comedy. Do not forget the chocolate covered peanuts snuck in from the store and a giant bucket of popcorn. It will keep your mind off the fact that you're a single spinster and you're spending the day alone, do not get off track.
