Planning a Batman Theme Birthday Party
Holy Batman! Planning a themed birthday party for your child can be very fun and very challenging. This article will give you some tips and tricks for planning your very own Batman themed party.
Batman Party Invitations
Once you've decided on a Batman
theme, you'll need to send out some invitations to your child's friends. You can purchase pre-made invitations and just fill them out, but you'll have more fun engaging your child to help make your own.
DIY: Batman Logo Birthday Party Invitations
You'll need black cardstock (heavy duty paper), yellow cardstock, pencil, white or yellow gel pens, glue, and envelopes large enough to fit the finished invitations.
1. Cut the yellow cardstock into a rectangle that will just fit inside the envelope. You want to make the rectangle as large as you can.
2. Trace a Batman logo shape onto the black cardstock using the pencil. If you can't remember what the logo looks like, just do a Google search for the logo.
3. Download an example and use it for your pattern piece.
4. Cut out the black Batman logo and glue it to the yellow rectangle.
5. Write out the birthday party details using the white or yellow gel pen. You may want to test the pens first to make sure they are bright enough to contrast with the black paper. Remember to include all the important party details such as who, when, and where.
6. Insert the completed invitation into the envelope, address the envelope, add stamp, and mail!
Purchase Batman Birthday Party Supplies
To make the atmosphere worthy of the Dark Knight, make sure you purchase co-coordinating party supplies from your local party supply store or from an online retailer such as Birthday Direct.
Choose matching party plates, napkins, cups, and noisemakers. Order some Mylar balloons that you can have filled with helium at a local retailer.
If you cannot find Batman balloons locally or don't want to order them online, make your own!
