Well, what more can I say about  this story that has not been said before?   The Author, Hunter S. Thompson , you either love him or you hate him!    I was once asked if I could borrow just one item from any story that I had read on the top of my list would have to be "THE SHARK", the large red car.   I may leave behind the luggage in the trunk "enough drugs to kill a platoon of Marines",...well!   I would love to experience the face on the hitch-hiker as he stepped into the belly of the SHARK coming face-to-face with Hunter S Thompson and his Attorney.

This book was made into a movie and the official comment was "Las Vegas viewed at 100mph from a medicine cabinet".  One day I hope to retrace the journey of the notorious Hunter S Thompson and tear down the freeway , wind blowing in my face and experiencing the freedom of HS Thompson.  Need I say more?

I read your piece..and must agree. Myself and my best friend unknowingly retraced those steps..we stayed at the stardust but walked all over vegas.... If you have a second, my first bit just got put up on the site....it's a true account of what happened when a bible loving lunitic came to my door. I let him in..and I doubt he's ever been the same. If you can get around the .40 cents, I would love the feedback. Thanks... Mahalo!
