If you are a fan of racing games but would like a bit of a change for once, then you should try Full Auto. Full auto turns a regular race into combat racing by placing some heavy guns right on the hood of your car!

Basically, in Full Auto you race to the finish line as you would in any other racing game. The exception is that you must also attack your opponents with a wide array of military grade weapons. Some of these are: machine guns, shot guns, missiles, grenade launchers, rockets, grenades, smoke screens, and more. Some weapons are offensive, while some are defensive. It just depends on what kind of car you are driving. Each car comes with a primary and secondary weapon.

22 different muscle cars are available for you to drive and destroy. There are 5 different series and classes. 10 modes of play are also available. This includes a career mode with over 80 events!

Now what exactly do you shoot at? Well everything. But the main things to target are your opponents. Boy are they tough. They enemy AI (artificial intelligence) is very smart, aggressive, and quick. They are very hard to hit with weapons, let alone pass to begin with, so take careful aim. Other things to shoot at include: buildings, fences, telephone poles, etc. Everything is destructible.

Driving the vehicles is quite difficult. It feels like you are floating or driving an unresponsive hover craft. This makes it to where wrecking your own car becomes quite easy to do. You brush a wall and your car literally explodes. This is quite annoying, but there is a solution in the game that makes this situation not so bad. As you shoot at things, you accumulate "Wreck" points. A Wreck meter begins to fill. When this meter is full, you are allowed to rewind time. You can do this to correct a wreck, take a ramp you missed, shoot an opponent that passed by, or correct any other mishaps you may have had.

The terrible controls are a huge and annoying problem. They do seem a bit unresponsive at best. Another problem is the aiming system. It is darn near impossible to aim! It is best to just hold down the fire button and hope to hit something.
