Just because summer is ending, does not mean the fun has to end. Fall is a great season in New York, and if you are lucky enough to be here, try to see as many fall festivals as you can. It is impossible to see everything, New York is so big, but there are fall festivals and parades from Long Island north to the Canadian Border, and from the eastern border with Vermont to Niagra Falls in the west.

One thing New York is famous for is apples and many fall festivals mean apple festivals all over the state, especially in the North. Check some of these out and have a great time

You can guess where the name comes from Wyoming is located in Western New York State in Wyoming County, not far from Buffalo. For a village of about 500 people, they sure know how to put on a fall festival. There will be a craft show, street entertainment, and more local food than you can shake a stick at.

It takes place at the Fly Creek Cider Mill, http://www.flycreekcidermill.com/ and since September is apple picking time, you can pick you own or enjoy apple cider right out of the presses. And be sure to check out their restaurant and bakery.

In October, on October 1st actually, there is a one day artist festival in Warwick New York. http://www.warwickapplefest.com/ And that is not all There is entertainment, rides and games and an unbelievable amount of food.
