Make Your Life More Productive
Do you want to get the most out of your life and be more successful? You can accomplish these goals by using the following steps to become more productive.
You must do something with your life. Do your best at whatever you do. Stay out of jail by controlling your anger at all times and keeping in mind there is a great chance of being caught and punished before you do
anything.
Develop useful skills. Practice doing various things. Take classes. Read informative books and articles.
Keep your body and mind fit. Eat meals that are balanced and nutritious. Do aerobic and weight training exercises regularly. Read health information. Engage your brain with things such as crosswords, puzzles and games.
Do things that will boost your memory. Rehearse your speeches and performances. Use repetition as you read. Use recitation; for example, if a deejay reveals the name and singer for a song he or she just played, say, "'The Life of John Doe' was sung by John Doe."
Enhance your computer use. Use the various functions the keyboard provides. Experiment with the various menus and options you see when you use software applications and the Internet.
Become a good typist. Memorize the entire keyboard. Boost your hand-eye coordination by touching a mark on a wall or table with each finger on both hands daily. Use the same finger to type two letters in a column. Use only one finger to type two numbers in a column on the ten-key pad, which is located on the right side of the keyboard.
Develop your ability to speed read. Skim headlines and paragraphs. Only focus on remembering part of a sentence; for example, if you see a sentence that focuses on John Doe's family saying he went to the store, tell yourself, "Doe went to the store."
Increase what you get out of your time in the classroom. Take notes in all your classes. Use shorthand when taking notes; for example, you should abbreviate the words you write down. Ask questions when you do not understand something.
