A Little Bit Of History:
St. Patrick's day is celebrated around the world. However the best way to experience it is to go to Dublin in Ireland. From parades to street performers the Irish know how to celebrate their national holiday! Since i was five I've been going to Ireland for this day, it's a great chance to catch up with relatives or to just let your hair down and embrace the Irish pub scene. You'll never find as many musicians in Dublin on any other day and everyones up for fun!

The First Day Of Of Celebration, The 13th:
This is the first day of the five days of celebrating. unfortunately there's not much to do during the day so you have to hold out and go to the City hall once it gets dark and wait until it is stunningly lit up with projections of people who received the Honorary Freedom Of The City award. After that my best advice is to check out a local pub and warm yourself up listening to music and having a Guinness.

The Second Day Of Celebrations, The 14th
This Year the organisers have gotten shops to join in and be "greened" loads of locations will be painted green and performers will be placed everywhere to keep the vibe of St. Patrick's Day going. In my opinion this is a good day to go shopping as you can watch street performers then go to a shop, then watch more performers, then go to a shop again! There is also a funfair planned this year with a 150ft wheel giving you a view of the city!
