Good morning, America. The sun is shining, believe it or not. Your lives are not dull. You are a creature of America, trying to thrive in an united states. Don't forget that even greater than that is your citizenship to the world. So open your eyes, America, and stop neglecting today in hopes of tomorrow. Today is rife with open-eyed cilia, even the prokaryotes are writhing and stirring this morning.

The fact of the morning does not lie in coffee, or no coffee. Your life does not depend on breakfast. Some Jains would vomit if they ate breakfast in the morning. If you like breakfast, fine, but before you partake in that ritual, take time for reflection. Take time for good old meditation. Don't know how to meditate? It's not complicated, although there are thousands of variations and styles of meditation. America, you don't know how to meditate because you don't know how to sit still. Meditation will not make you any money. Meditation will not straighten out your spouse. Meditation will not count in society as having gone to church, or taken communion, but, rest assured, you will be the individual at work with a smile on your face, and carrying the least amount of stress.

You do not have to bend yourself into a lotus position. You are not a pretzel, and everyone understands that. The point of meditation, which is hazardously arguable, is not the way you do it. Find your way, America. Give yourself the license.

Wake up a fifteen minutes earlier than you normally would. Assuming you have to get to work in the morning, you're going to have to fit this in, and that might be the hardest variable to overcome for most Americans. But once you make the commitment to wake up early every morning, you'll be happy you did. An entire world of energy exists around you, and it is a shame not to tap into that energy. How many people die without gaining the relatively simple, yet utterly profound, notion that they are a part of the world. And not only the world, but the cosmos, and infinity, eternity, and all that is yet undefined. Without you, there could be no infinity.
