Tuesday January 22 is an important date for actors and directors in Hollywood. This is the day that they will find out who got an Oscar nod and who got snubbed. Here are my predictions for Best Picture, Best Actor and Best Actress.

Best Picture
Golden Globe Best Picture Drama and Best Picture Musical/Comedy winners "Atonement" and "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street" are shoe-ins for Best Picture Nods and this years Oscars. If either movie gets snubbed then there is just no justice, because both films are amazing. Both films are in my top 5 films of 2007. Indie hit "Juno" is getting rave reviews from critics everywhere and hopefully the Oscars will take notice and nominate this movie for Best Picture.

Other movies that have a good shot at getting nominated: "Gone Baby Gone," Michael Clayton," "Into The Wild," "There Will Be Blood," "Charlie Wilson's War," "3:10 to Yuma" and "Eastern Promises."

Best Actor
After winning a Golden Globe for his performance in "Sweeney Todd," Johnny Depp has rightfully earned an Oscar nomination. Also celebrating a Golden Globe win is "There Will Be Blood" actor Daniel Day-Lewis who seems to be a lock in for the Oscar nod. Many actors are in the running, but they all can't get nominated. Be prepared if you favorite gets snubbed.

Other possible best actor nominees are:
James McAvoy ("Atonement"), Casey Affleck ("Gone Baby Gone"), Viggo Mortensen ("Eastern Promises"), Emile Hirsch ("Into The Wild"), Ryan Gosling ("Lars & The Real Girl"), Russell Crowe ("3:10 to Yuma"), Denzel Washington ("American Gangster"), Tom Hanks ("Charlie Wilson's War"), George Clooney ("Michael Clayton) and John Cusack ("Grace Is Gone").

Best Actress
Ellen Page gave an excellent performance as a pregnant teenager in Jason Reitman's dramedy "Juno." Page seems to be the dark horse in the Best Actress category, but I think she is a shoe-in for a nomination. Golden Globe winners Julie Christie (Best Actress Drama: "Away From Her") and Marion Cotillard (Best Actress Musical/Comedy: "La Vie En Rose") should expect to hear their names called when the nominations are made on Tuesday.
