Now gather your troops and prepare to attack.
Raise your sword slowly and never look back.
Bear your arms lightly don't lower your guard,
I'll never make it easy and you knew it might be hard.

That day we met, when you kissed my hand
your black eyes held a challenge only I could understand.
I fought the battle your way though I never did know why...
But you're in my territory now and you'll fight it out or die.

A good general knows just how much he can bear
Before he risks losing the troops he holds dear.
So be very certain to check it all through --
Can you fight and defeat me, or shall I conquer you?

That I am your enemy you've left in no doubt
But never be certain of how the war will out.
I'm a general too, my dear More experienced than you.
I've more battles in my background and you've seen all too few.

To understand the strategy wherein the winning lies...
Your sword could never slice me like the steel in your eyes.
My blade it has been blunted as it fell against your heart,
I've found it far to hard for me to carve myself a part.

I'll sound out my retreating on a twisted horn of gold
and march to war another way...This battlefield is far too cold.
