MAC Cosmetics Select SPF 15 Liquid Foundation NW25
I love MAC. My budget though tells me to avoid MAC at all costs. However whenever I run out, I am drawn to my nearest mall...the MAC representatives call to me, they know... I need a new MAC product. They sniff me out, find me a product that would look good on
me, a product that would match my skin tone to a tee, and a product that I can't go home without.
They got me on Saturday afternoon. I was 'trying' to avoid the MAC counters and sales associates, but this one hot broad called me over. I noticed how nice her makeup looked, so I of course had to ask. She told me about their newest colors in eye shadows, and went on about lipstick.
I'm not much of a lipstick person, but I knew I needed new foundation. My MAC Pressed Powder was currently near it's end, and I wanted to restock. Just as I was about to buy my norm, she told me that I could buy the same color NW25 in a liquid foundation.
'Why darlin' you read my mind!'
I had never tried their liquid foundations. I always have gotten the pressed powder or cream concealer. Seeing how they had my color in the foundation, I ended up walking away $27.49 poorer.
The Color:
I have a medium light complexion, it seems my skin tone is difficult to find an appropriate color for. Other concealers and foundations are either too light or too dark on my skin. I cannot even count how much money I have wasted on purchasing foundation, only to come home and realize that it was wrong for my skin tone.
MAC NW25 though is designed to blend well, even if by chance I was to buy something too dark or too light. NW25 seems to match me perfectly, while adding a very small tint of bronze that blends naturally.
At home I first cleaned my face, and applied to foundation with my finger. They recommend using a brush, but I find this to be messy and nearly impossible seeing how the bottle is glass, and the top opening is too damn small to fit any brush into.
The foundation applies quickly and blends evenly while hiding my flaws and imperfections.
Last:
So yeah, I get wonderful flawless looking skin, but most of you are probably wondering how long the foundation stays put.
