The dress code in your work environment requires you to wear dress shoes with heels, your feet require you to wear comfortable low heels on your commute to the office.

1000's of women are faced with this challenge every working day, and have dealt with the challenge by wearing a pair of low heeled shoes, usually sneakers, for their daily work commute, and carrying a pair high heels with them to put on when they arrive at work.

Camileon (spelled CAMiLEON) Heels is out to change that with a dress shoe designed to go from high heels to low heels, or vice-versa, in seconds. The Camileon Heel shoe does not have to be removed for the transformation, a tug and a push is all that is required to transform the 3 1/4 inch heel to a 1 1/2 inch heel . When transforming from the high heel to the low heel, the portion of the high heel not being used stows in the arch of the shoe sole and is unseen by others when you are standing or walking.

The Camileon high heel has a stainless steel rod running through it, along with a patented locking mechanism that ensures wearers of stability, durability and safety. Both the high heel and the low heel have rubber tips that are replaceable.

Camileon Heels have been designed to provide comfortable wear in both the high heeled and low heeled positions. Camileon Heels are so sure of their shoe's comfortable wear, the company offers consumers a risk free trial.(see website for details)

The Camileon Heels are made in Italy of the finest leather, and come in basic contemporary shoe styles. The styles have been designed with the professional working woman in mind.

Camileon Heels were created by the brother and sister team of Donna Lauren Handel and Dr. David Handel. The idea for shoes that transform occurred to David Handel one day during a cab ride in Manhattan. He noticed many women who were stylishly dressed, walking in sneakers. It was also a time when David's two young sons enjoyed playing with Transformer Robots, and the idea of transforming shoes clicked for him. Joined with his sister some years later, the idea, design and technology came together as a transforming shoe called CAMiLEON Heels.
