Kabob and Curry is one of the Indian restaurants in Providence, RI which offers both vegetarian and vegan menus. It entices you with mouth-watering Indian cuisine in an atmosphere that is inviting. Listen to soft Indian music while you dine either downstairs in the solarium or upstairs in a room set up not only for regular dining but their Sunday buffets and occasional parties. There are several selections to choose from, all reasonably priced meals which leave you satisfied.

Begin your meal with appetizers. The Vegetarian Sampler, which includes two vegetable samosas, two vegetable pakoras, one aloo ki tikki and one paneer tikka, is available for the price of $7.50 for either lunch or dinner.

If you enjoy Dosas and or Wraps, Kabob and Curry serves these until 3 pm at the small cost of $6.50. The dosas are thin crispy pancakes made from a batter of rice and lentils and grilled to order. You will find them accompanied by sambar (lentil sauce) and chutney. Your choices of seasoned potato or mushroom masala will tickle your taste buds. The spinach wraps, equally tantalizing, come with portabella mushrooms and chick peas.

As far as entries go, most of them are available for lunch and dinner at the following prices - Lunch $6.25 Dinner 10.50

Unless you have a favorite, you'll find it difficult to choose from all that is offered, from Alu Gobhi - Steamed cauliflower stir fried with potatoes, herbs and spices, with your choice of: cottage cheese, potatoes or tofu to Baingan Bharta - A North Indian specialty of roasted eggplant, skinned and stir fried into and exotic preparation.
