I've always been a fan of luxurious high-end bath products, as there's nothing more relaxing and indulgent than taking a long, hot bath or shower with a fragrant, silky body wash. I trust the Caress brand (I've been using their soap for years) so I was excited to spot a new Caress body wash on the store shelves.

I had the opportunity to try the new Caress Exotic Oil Infusions Japanese and Moroccan Cream Oil Body Washes, and I was very pleased with both of them. This new line of body washes is very reasonably priced, performs well, and produces a spa-like experience in your bath or shower.

I first purchased the Caress Exotic Oil Infusions Japanese Cream Oil Body Wash after I spotted it on the shelf at my local Wal-Mart. The inventive packaging immediately caught my eye. The plastic bottle is uniquely shaped and a warm, spicy-red color, with an exotic design. I instantly pictured myself whisked away to a Japanese garden, so I grabbed a bottle and checked out with it!

Later, I ran a hot bath and tested out my new find. I found that the product did live up to its description on the bottle, as "silkening" and "delicate." This Japanese Cream Oil Body Wash features a blend of white lotus cream and kukui nut oil, both of which left my skin feeling like satin. The body wash is a light pinkish-white color and very creamy; I didn't have to use a lot to produce a rich lather (the product is about $5 and the generously sized bottle should last a long time.)

The scent was very light and not overpowering, and the creamy lather rinsed very clean, leaving a silky feeling. After my bath, I found that the scent did not linger very long on my body, or in my bathroom. Caress sells bar soap in the Japanese scent, and the pretty packaging would look nice in a bathroom. It might be a good idea to unwrap some cakes of soap and place them in a basket in your bath, to release a longer lasting fragrance (another idea: unwrap a cake of soap and place in your lingerie drawer.)

Sounds rather good -- I couldn't use their regular soap but same with Dove and the never products I do fine with. Nice review!
