This writer the other day was viewing the intellectually challenging "Family Guy" dog aka "Brian" give that little UFO headed baby "Stewey" some sort of lecture on semantics. Than it struck me. Not the lecture but the audacity.

An old cartoon called "Mr. Peabody & Sherman" also had a talking "beagle" known as Mr. Peabody." He like the chrachter "Brian, seemed to have a high intellect." If memory serves me he hung around a human cartoon character named "Sherman." 'Peabody" seemed to be a mentor for Sherman as Bryan is for the "Family Guy."

Than you have a Beagle everyone knows as "Snoopy." The dog from "Charlie Brown." Snoopy is more popular than Brittany is and Snoopy to my knowledge has not been to rehab, and has never had a visit from "Dr. Phil."

Now legal scholars. All three cartoon dogs are of similar cartoon breeds. All three dogs, share a higher intellect. All three dogs are independent of the other characters. In this writers opinion all three cartoon dogs may be more intelligent than "Dr. Phil."

One day, a friend of mine told me he wasextremely bored but intellectually stimulated no mind you , and thought about drawing two eye shapes a nose, and mustache on his thumb. (Due to Phil's baldness the portion of the thumb at the top of the cuticle would be untouched)

The result to some may appear to resemble a bald man with a mustache! Now if this idea was put to use and by no means This writer suggests that anyone do, and call his or her thumb "Dr. Phil." Could the Individual be sued? Not being an attorney, the obvious answer is yes. Anyone can be sued for about anything. It does not mean that much in recovery if any or a lot. It may be dependant on how the thumb is being used.

The thumb which has a drawn mustache and nose, is one thing, but giving it a name and a forum may be abnother. A very short actor lets call him "Tom" seems to litigate over everything." This character may have more "Cease & Desist" orders than Israel & Palestine.
