As a mom and constant homeroom mother, coming up with unique Valentine's Day gifts for teachers is always a challenge. By the end of the day most teachers have about 20 little boxes of chocolate that probably will never be eaten, or that will be given away. This year do something different when selecting Valentine's Day gifts for teachers.

Having been homeroom mom on several occasions, the realization of the different strategies that could be taken to purchase one of the really great Valentine's Day gifts for teachers was to make the decision whether to make it a group effort or allow children to bring or not to bring a gift. There is a certain responsibility that comes with being the homeroom mom, so the pressure for at least one good Valentines Day gift for teachers is at the forefront as the holiday approaches.

Most children want to give chocolates on Valentines Day to their teachers. If this is the case, a group effort would be best. One this takes pressure off of the other moms to have to get a gift. Imagine the look on the teachers face when there are not twenty little heart shape boxes of two or three hard candies to deal with.
