A Love Unconditional

Even if I am eloquent in speech, persuasive and articulate, pleasing to the eye, and have not love...

I am only loud and noisy, an annoying charmer.

And though I am gifted to see the future, comprehending all enigmas, and all the known sciences;
though I understand all doctrines, and have not love, I am nothing.

Consequently blessed with the ability to utterly decimate any opponent or giant that stands in my way,
if I have no love...
it means nothing.

Indeed bequeathing all earthy possessions to feed those hungry,
and sacrifice my life to a praiseworthy cause..
without love, there is no gain.

What is Love?

Love endures as long as it takes, it perseveres, it is compassionate; Love does not envy;

Love is not vain, arrogant or conceited. It is not self righteous, nor deceitful.

A Love Unconditional, can never come up short.

As for the future, it will come and go, become known.

Eloquence of speech shall one day be silenced.

Beauty, temporary.

Wisdom only a fleeting moment of time.

What abides eternal?

Faith, believing in the unseen.
Hope, confidently expecting to see.

Love.

Of these Love is most excellent.
