Plasmas offer great contrast between white and black. Plasmas show very accurate colors and crisp clean lines. Plasma sets have virtually no image blurring or motion issues like an LCD set has. A plasma display is perfect for watching sports or action movies or anything else that has a lot of fast, complex motion on the screen. This ability to capture motion accurately and without blur, as well as the true and accurate black levels make plasmas HDTV sets a front runner when it comes to picture quality alone. However, plasma sets also come with a few drawbacks.
