Former President Bill Clinton Falls Asleep During Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial

Clinton's Nap Caught on Camera

Bill Clinton can sleep through just about anything these days, even a memorial service for a national hero. The Fox Network's affiliate station in Greenville, South Carolina reported that Clinton dozed off in full view of cameras at the Convent

Clinton was attending memorial services for slain Civil Rights Leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. when he got a little too comfortable in his chair. To add insult to injury, King's son, Martin Luther King III was speaking during the former President's catnap. In addition to getting millions of views on YouTube, the makers of "No-Doz" probably will want Clinton to become their national spokesman.

Sleeping His Way Back to the White House

During his time as President, Bill Clinton literally had a Teflon coating because few accusations could stick to him. His impromptu nap at the services will most likely be viewed as the actions of a man who has been burning the midnight oil for his wife's campaign; Hilary Clinton might even get more votes because of it.

From Gerald Ford's clumsiness through George W. Bush's mangling of the English language during his speeches, many of the men who have been President of the United States committed blunders that we never will forget:

Infamous Political Blunders: Ronald Reagan's Radio Bombshell

While testing a microphone before a weekly radio address in 1984, President Ronald Reagan decided to inject a little Cold War humor into the sound-check when he said "My fellow Americans, I am pleased to tell you today that I signed legislation that will outlaw Russia forever. We begin bombing in 5 minutes."

Unfortunately, Reagan's mike was "hot" and his off-the-cuff remark went out on the air and made national headlines. I guess Reagan was hoping for a second take.
