There are so many people who have problems with their skin. The most common skin problems are whiteheads and blackheads that effect just about everyone who has gone through puberty or is going through puberty.

Whiteheads (Milia) are the result of sebum that gets trapped in a duct that has no opening in it so it develops a hard white lump under the skin. Milia or whiteheads usually occur in dry skin and they can also appear in the skin after the skin has been damaged in some way. Most people think that if they have had these for some time that they will need to see a beautician to have these removed but this is not the complete truth because you can remove them your self.

You need to use a good product along with good skin care and keep practicing good skin care after they are removed or they will just come back. If you have newly formed whiteheads they can be dispersed by a good product with a good massage. If you have older ones they will be harder to remove but when trying to squeeze them out you should use 2 q-tips to do this.

Q-tips are gentler on the skin and more sterile than using the ends of your fingers or finger nails. Using q-tips will help to prevent scarring on the skin. After removing them you should use a good cleanser o help keep the skin clean.

There are some good base oils and essential oil mixtures that you can use to keep the whiteheads from forming. These oils can be hard to blended together so you should always shake up the bottle a few times before each use just to make sure that the oils are blended together good.

When you are mixing and storing homemade products for beauty you should store them in a glass bottle with a screw on lid that is airtight. Homemade beauty products keep better in a bottle that is dark in color like amber or cobalt because this keeps the light out and helps to keep the product fresh.

Remember, you should always test a small area of skin before you try a product on your entire face just to make sure that you don't experience some type of an allergic reaction to the product. Here is a good recipe for an oil mixture that will help to remove and help to fight the reoccurring of whiteheads. I hope you enjoy!
