A militant group has finally released a video of the two Fox News reporters who were kidnapped at gunpoint. This is a new militant group (they appear to spring out of the sand) so let's hope they're willing to talk.

New Militant Group

Dutch police have detained 12 people after a Northwest Airlines flight that was headed to India was escorted back to the airport. The pilot had radioed for help after they began acting suspiciously.

More trouble on planes

A pungent odor closed down an airport checkpoint in Minneapolis. At least 19 people were sickened, and the odor was described as "peppery." President Bush was due to arrive in the area a few hours after the incident was reported.

In more plane news - A flammable liquid was discovered aboard a US Domestic flight, despite strict screening of passengers.

More bad news.

Aha! Maybe this is why everyone is dragging their feet on the peacekeeping troops. Syria announced that if troops are deployed along their border with Lebanon, they will interpret the action as a hostile move.

It keeps getting worse.

Speaking of the Fox News reporters - The US is holding firm to their stance of no negotiations with terrorists. Maybe someone else will help these people out.

Israel is urging Lebanon to act quickly to get their troops to Southern Lebanon before the ceasefire is shattered by militants.
