At the mere mention of the name Satan, you get these corrupt thoughts of pure evil and sin. Even so, he has a religion based upon his description handed down over the years.

One would never think that this religion, Satanism, would relate in any way to human society. At first, it sounds very improbable that anything in society could relate to something that sounds so heinous, unless its something that is considered morally wrong. But, upon a closer look, you'll find there are stunning similarities.

Looking behind all the "common knowledge," the beliefs shared by Satanists go with many of the ways of America today. Satanists bide by nine crucial statements in the beliefs, basically their 9 commandments instead of the 10 commandments those of us who believe in God and the bible live by.

Actually all of these 9 statements can relate to human behavior in some shape or form. Much like statement number four, "Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it." I think most all of us can relate to this one. Generally, if someone doesn't deserve us to be nice to them, we're not nice to them. If an individual mistreats another, the victim isn't going to respond and be kind. And, can't we say that "American societies represent kindness to those who deserve it?"

Statement number five,"Satan represents vengeance, instead of turning the other cheek." Not a very logical approach, thats for sure, but nearly all of us can say we're guilty of "getting even" instead of resolving problems a more subtle way, anything from verbal disputes, to classic revenge. It could be something as simple as one being wrongly rumored, and them starting a bad hear-say.

People who follow Satanism go by the idea that "Satan has been the best friend the church has ever had, as he has kept it in business all these years." We could easily replace the word Satanism with America.

In America, churches get a lot of representation, fundings, and publication. But then, without sins there wouldn't be a need for a church. Most people in American society are guilty of sinning. And without their sinning, there would be no business for a church.
