What Are the Manifestations of God?

As a Christian woman I am blessed with the revelation of Who God is. Not to mention that according to my faith and belief, the most important name is that one above all others. That being Jesus Christ.

I want to talk about the manifestations of God, so that you know, regardless of the many names He has, He was, is and will always be ONE God. Many confuse this with a doctrine that was picked up by the Catholic Church and the Counsel of Nisea, 320 AD. That being God is separated into
three 'persons'. First of all, God is a Spirit (John 4:24) not a person. He has many manifestations and that includes Jesus Christ, the man.

Exodus 3:1 Moses and the burning bush, where God made Himself known to deliver the 10 Commandments.

Daniel 3: King Nebuchadnezzar and Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. The three refused to bow down to other gods and were thrown into the fiery furnace. A fourth appeared and even the king called him 'son of the gods' Found in Daniel 3:24.

- He always walks with us through our fiery trials. That is a type and shadow of the Old and New Testaments. The Old Testament was a physical sense, whereas now we are under the Dispensation of Grace and the Church age, we are the Spiritual aspect of types and shadows.

Exodus 13: Leading the Israelites out of Egypt into the promised land. God manifested Himself as a pillar of a cloud during the day and a pillar of fire by night. Exodus 13:21

Matthew 1: Jesus Christ, Messiah, Lamb of God. With many names He is but One. God came to Earth to redeem man back to Himself in the form of a man. God said in the Book of Isaiah 43:11 'I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from Me there is NO Savior.' There are many references throughout the Book of Isaiah where God Almighty made it perfectly clear that He alone is our Savior. As a man He became our Savior and died for us as a perfect, spotless, sinless man.

Matthew 3: The Spirit of God descended like a dove. --Note: it says 'like a dove'. Wow I thought it was an actual dove. I just received a revelation that it was not a dove but it says 'like a dove'. A type of the Holy Ghost when the perfect example of the baptism of Jesus took place. He was baptized as an example for us.--

Some tough comments, Katy. Believe me, I can relate. But isn't it also wonderful to know that there are still those who believe in our right to believe as we choose as well?

Katy, I'm so proud of you I could just burst all over the room! You keep writing about Jesus Christ, honey. And consider yourself a missionary to your readers. Your reward is waiting for you, and it will be hand delivered by the Judge, Jesus, Himself! Well done, good and faithful servant.

LOL What are you talking about? You have problems David and if you want to continue spewing all over my comment box, go for it. Try as you may to control me, it's not working. I am a Christian woman, and I removed all your vulgar comments per your request as you asked me to. Well begged me to. So if you want to sit here and continue to fill them up, I won't be the one looking silly now will I :) good night David.

akarp - you made a good point and if people would ask Him, He would most definitely show them. He is no respecter of persons. if we have a sincere heart and believe, then those are the first steps. Please do not let the comments here keep you from knowing the essence of the Bible study. It is intended for the searching and hungry. Ultimately, as I stated before, our salvation is a personal thing and is up to us to seek it out in fear and trembling. Thanks for your comments and taking your time to voice your thoughts on this issue. Good luck in school too :) Thanks Donna!! Always good to hear your opinion on my articles :)
