Thanks to Mr. Bush's tax cuts for the super rich and his billion dollar a week war and his utter failure to even recognize that the American economy has been pretty much stagnant since he sent young men and women off to fight his unnecessary war, the world's stock markets are in turmoil and the nation's economists are struggling mightily to look Americans in the face and not appear to be lying when they say a recession isn't inevitable. Anyone who has had to back off from buying anything because gasoline prices have for the first time in history doubled during a President's term of office can tell you that America has been in a recessionary state due to inflationary pressures. Only the wealthy in America have been unable to recognize that the economic state of this country under Bush has been one that is the worst in recent memory. Finally, even the rich guys are now starting to get the message. Of course, the American economy is entirely dependent not upon production or manufacturing, but consumption. As long as Americans are buying, the economy will remain strong. For that reason, credit card companies will never go out of business because the politicians know that if the American economy actually was forced to subsist on people buying things they could afford, the United States would be a third world nation right now. Therefore, the only real economic stimulus this country needs is the infusion of a product that has been in desperately short supply. The answer to bringing the United States out of the recession it is in and the Depression that is unquestionably lurking around the corner?

Nintendo needs to start making more Wii video game consoles.
