Great Recipes for Home Facials

Did you know that you can give yourself an excellent spa quality facial from within the walls of your own home with natural ingredients found right in your kitchen? Well, you can and it's very simple.

Here are 5 "recipes" for your own at home facial. Follow these in their printed order and you'll finish off with a beautiful face and you'll be feeling refreshed. Enjoy them alone or invite some friends over for a spa
party and share your new found magic with them! And don't forget to enjoy.

1) Corn Meal and Yogurt Facial Scrub

This mixture is great for exfoliating and cleansing your face. Just mix 1 tablespoon ground corn meal and 2 tablespoons natural yogurt into a paste then gently rub it into your skin, starting at your chin and working upwards in small circles finishing off at your forehead. When finished, rinse your face off with warm water. The exfoliating properties of the corn's gritty texture will leave your skin feeling invigorated.

2) Egg White Face Mask

The Egg White Face Mask will help to tighten your skin, giving it a more youthful appearance and it will also add a glowing luster. For this you will need to break open one egg and separate the whites from the yokes. Beat the whites for one minute by hand and then gently apply evenly to your skin. Now let the egg whites harden and then wash them off with warm water. The egg whites draw toxins from your skin's surface and tighten your pours, helping to keep dirt and more toxins from entering.

3) Avocado Face Mask

The Avocado Face Mask is softening and lifting. For this part of your facial, you simply mash the creamy insides of one avocado into a soft paste and apply it to your face using the avocado stone (pit) to massage it into your skin. Use small, upwards circular motions starting at your chin and working up to your forehead. Wash off with warm water after letting the avocado soak into your skin for a few minutes. Avocado's are full of vitamin E, which is very soothing and nourishing for your skin.

4) Honey Face Pat
