Stephenville UFO Sighting: Military F-16's or Alien Spacecraft?

Could This Be Another Roswell Cover Up?

In a not quiet so shocking twist to the UFO sightings in Stephenville Texas at the beginning of January, the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth released a statement retracting its earlier claims that there were no military aircraft in the area
during the sightings. They now claim there were at least 10 F-16's in the area for training, according to the Fort Worth Star Telegram.

Why did I call this a not quiet so shocking twist? This isn't the first time in history that the government has seemingly "covered up" operations by telling the public that the lights from UFO's are nothing more than the persons eyes playing tricks on them, or a trick of the light, the sun setting in just the right way while you happen to be looking in just the right spot, or a weather phenomenon. It angers me that it had to take a video of the supposed UFO surfacing before the military would admit that yes, they did have aircraft in the area.

In 1947 in Roswell New Mexico an unidentified flying object crashed into the New Mexico desert. The government claimed this UFO was actually a top secret weather balloon. Years later people whom were actually a part of the debris recovery have come forward to claim there was a cover up and that they had helped to clean up the crash site of an alien spaceship. Nurses that have worked at Roswell have come forward and said that they had helped to complete autopsies on the aliens.

In 1997 hundreds of people reported seeing lights in a V-formation over Phoenix Arizona. Luke Air Force Base stated that they knew nothing of the event, yet a person claiming to be an airman stationed at the base was among those that reported the UFO. The base later claimed that the event was caused by military flares being released by aircraft in the "general" vicinity.

In 2006 Pilots and other airport employees reported seeing a saucer shaped UFO hovering directly over O'Hare Airport. The UFO flew straight up and was lost to view in the clouds. The radar at the airport showed nothing and federal officials claimed the sighting was actually a weather phenomenon.

Cliff Stone - Army UFO Consultant - US Military talks about his work with the military. He says, "We also had an officially sanctioned deception program. This was in total disregard as to the impact this would have on individual witnesses, and also on their families." He also states, "I sincerely feel that no government has the right to destroy the lives of the people which it is supposed to serve." After he began to speak openly about ufo's and alien visitation he says "This resulted in every effort being made to destroy my military career." He also says, "At one point I even had an individual come up to me, point a gun at my head and inform me we could have a training accident and this would end this foolishness once and for all." He says he firmly believes they have a moral obligation to the ufo witnesses who are the real victims of the ufo phenomenon.

Are you suggesting that the United States government would change its story simply to make a few people (er... an entire town) look silly? Ummm... actually, yeah. That's pretty plausible. .............. Thanks for the comment on the "Whats Hot." That's how I found you. :)

I would be willing to bet there is no end to the things the government keeps Americans from knowing about UFO's and everything else. Great reporting. JB
