Getting married in a church facility is a much desired goal of many an engaged couple. Here is a list of the top four historic landmark venues that are extremely popular with brides and grooms to be. Notice that the majority of venues have very strict rules and regulations that pertain not only to the religious aspect of the ceremony but also to the logistics, even down to the use of scotch tape! Make sure you know exactly what the expectations are before signing on the dotted line!

Trinity Church

Located at 74 Trinity Place, this Gothic Revival structure threatens to get lost in between the skyscrapers of downtown Manhattan. Located at the coveted address that is marked by the cross streets of Broadway and Wall Street, this church belong to the Episcopal Diocese. Movie buffs will know this venue from the film National Treasure as having been the church underneath which a legendary secret chamber leads to a cache.

To be married at this location, one of the spouses-to-be must be a baptized Christian, and you will need to attend premarital counseling. Those previously divorced require a bishop's permission to go through with the nuptials. Janine McHale is in charge of speaking to those who would like this church as their venue, and she requires reservation of the facility four months ahead of the actual date. Take a look at the pamphlet explaining fees and conditions for more information.

What makes this the top wedding venue barn none is the possibility of tapping into the Trinity Television network and for $1,100 having the ceremony professionally telecast - this is not to be confused with your best friend Bob taking a shaky homemade video of the whole shebang and then posting it on YouTube!
