Every NFL football division is capable of completely flipping over in just one off-season. Take the NFC South where for the last 3 seasons, the team that finished last, went on to win the division the following season. And other examples of complete turnarounds include Pittsburgh going from 3rd to 1st this season, the Cincinnati Bengals going from 2nd to last and the Baltimore Ravens going from first to worst.

The NFC North has many questions entering the 2008 off-season. This past season, everyone thought that the Chicago Bears, the reigning NFC champions, would easily when this division. Instead, it was the Green Bay Packers who prevailed without any competition whatsoever. With the Bears disappointed, and the Packers on a high and wanting to stay there, you can rest assure the NFC North has some serious questions to answer this off-season.

What will the Chicago Bears do at the quarterback position? - While the defense was not what it was in 2006, and the running back position was definitely downgraded, the biggest failure on this team in 2007 was the lack of consistency at the quarterback. Rex Grossman was supposed to be get better, but instead he was even worse and was eventually relegated to the bench in favor of Brian Griese. But even Griese couldn't keep the Bears' playoff hopes alive, and eventually Kyle Orton was in as the starter.

The Bears must seriously upgrade at the quarterback position to make this team a contender once again. Assuming Cedric Benson has a much better season next year, this team has everything it needs to win in this league. The Bears cannot afford to waste too much time finding a QB or else this team is going to age without winning a title, something the Philadelphia Eagles have encountered due to inability to find a stable wide receiver.
