Conservative Ron Paul Won Florida Debate!
The Only Conservative on Stage
According to the msnbc polls for the Florida debate, Ron Paul won the debate with 42% of the vote. Mitt Romney came in second with 40%. Huckabee had 8%, McCain had 6% and Rudy came in last with 4%.I find it interesting that the media brushes Ron Paul support off as a joke. And immediately go to the next highest polling candidate.
I watched the Florida republican debate with much interest last night. My candidate, Fred Thompson, no longer is in the race. So, I am looking for a home. And, I am happy to say that I found one. Where? Ron Paul for President! Thank you very much.
Why? I am a conservative republican. When I hear republican candidates trying to throw money at problems, I cringe. For instance, I think the government should have stayed out of this bailing out business. Will I take a check from them? Yes. But on the flipside, its only going to make fiscal matters worse for the country. We DO have to pay such things back, one way or another.
I don't want bigger government. I don't want government in my personal life. I am pro-life. I believe in the constitution. I don't believe in nanny states. I believe in these times, our military should be well fitted and should not fight everyone else's battles. The only exception I have to that is Israel. Because I know if we go fight for her, she will already be in the thick of it. Unlike other so-called allies, where we fight their battles, shed our men and women's blood, and pick up the tab. No thank you, no expenses paid and absolutely no loyalty to the U.S.
Last night I heard how we will continue the war, bail out loser loans, and give money away in hopes that it will somehow change the current fiscal circumstances. I heard some iffy statements about the 2nd amendment and the roll of big government. As a conservative, you can understand why I am nervous.
