Review of "Green Acre's"

Old Television Show Review Very Much Missed by Everyone Who Watched It

Green Acre's was simply the best show on television. The shows premise was developed about a wealthy couple from the East, who moved to the country to experience reality. No not a reality show or a survivor show because those type of shows do not deserve ever
to be in an entertainment environment.

Anyway you had Oliver a long winded blow hard who could not farm at all. That would include even an ant farm. Lisa, Oliver's television wife tried to fit in this small country town. Anyone know the name of that town? You had Mr. Haney who sold Oliver anything that did not work including a tractor with no wheels just the rims. These days Haney would had been a class action attorney or used car-salesman, but what is the difference? You had Arnold a pet pig, long before that fad ever became popular. You had Eb, a farm hand to Oliver & Lisa. Lisa made pancakes that boiled on a grill. Once in the series here pancakes were used to successfully patch a tire.

Oliver used to climb a telephone pole just to answer the telephone or make a call. You had the Monroe brothers, but one of the "brothers" was a girl. Her gender was in a yet to be determined status I suppose. The "Ziffel's" owned Arnold the Pig. I can't be sure but possibly who knows but perhaps the Ziffels helped to inspire years later the only good Reynolds flick, " Deliverance."

You had Hank Kimble, a county agent who could not answer a direct question. This writer's opinion is that Kimble may have taught every politician and business administrator their craft.

All these characters meshed together blended like your favorite thanksgiving meal.

Trivia Questions.

1. Could Arnold speak?
2. What kind of vehicle did Hank Kimble drive.
3. "No??(What city did Lisa Douglas Love before her move to the country? (From the series theme song)
4. What was the name of the grocery store and owner of the small town? The same grocer starred in "Petticoat Junction."
5.What was the first name of the wife married to Mr. Ziffel?
